How to Turn On Hisense TV Without Remote
How to Turn On Hisense TV Without Remote:
Remove
the batteries of your remote.
- Disconnect the TV from power.
- Remove the batteries of your remote.
- Locate the battery compartment on your remote and
remove the batteries from it. The compartment may be located in a small
slot beneath a flap, or it may require you to remove a screw-on top of the
remote before accessing it. If unsure where to find this compartment,
consult your user manual for instructions on opening/closing it.
- Take out your old batteries and put them aside for
reinsertion later if needed (or just throw them away if you're done with
them).
- Now that you've opened up your remote's battery port,
take out any other attachments that might be inside there as well—like
gummy bears!
Push
any button on the remote for 5 sec to discharge the capacitor.
If you have tried all the steps
above without any luck, there is one more thing you can try.
The remote control may be defective
and need to be replaced. You should get a new remote control from the
manufacturer or retailer or contact them to ask if they can provide an
alternative solution.
Put
the batteries back in.
- Put the batteries back in. The remote requires batteries
to work. The batteries will eventually run out, so make sure they are new
and placed correctly.
- Try another device. If you’re not sure about the
battery placement, test your remote with a different device that uses
infrared signals to communicate with a television or other device (such as
a Blu-ray player). If it works with this other device but not your Hisense
TV, then chances are one of the two is broken—but it could also be because
you have an older model of Hisense TV that isn’t compatible with newer
remotes.
- Test another TV brand's remote control on your Hisense
TV set up: Some manufacturers use different technology for their remotes
than others; therefore, sometimes another brand's remote may work better
than yours does with specific sets from other companies due to these
differences in technology between brands' models of devices like TVs or
cable boxes/DVRs etc.--especially if you've been using them for awhile
without issue before having problems now! It might just need fresh
batteries after all...
Slighty
press any buttons on the remote to turn on your TV if you have a manual power
switch on your Hisense TV.
If you have a manual power switch on
your Hisense TV, press it to turn on the set.
If there is no power switch, remove
all batteries from the remote and wait for 30 seconds. Then, press any button
on the remote to discharge the capacitor inside. After this process, press any
button on the remote again to turn on your TV.
Reconnect
the power cord of your Hisense TV if you do not have a manual power switch on
the TV
If your Hisense TV does not have a
manual power switch, it is likely that you need to reconnect the power cord.
Begin by unplugging the power cord
from the back of your TV. Once unplugged, press and hold down on the 'Power'
button located on your remote control for at least 30 seconds. Once this time
has elapsed, plug in the power cord again and try pressing 'Power' once more to
see if it turns on.
